Instructions of Networking Configuration for Data Logger(WiFi)

Some users may encounter difficulties reconnecting their inverter to Wi-Fi using the Deye Cloud app. If this occurs, follow the alternative step-by-step method below to manually configure your connection:

(To help make the process smoother: please turn off mobile data, forget the home Wi-Fi network on your device so it doesn’t auto-reconnect, and have your home Wi-Fi password ready.)

1. Locate the Logger ID and Password

Find the Logger ID and password on the sticker located beneath your inverter. Refer to the sample image below for guidance.

2. Connect to the Logger Network

Turn OFF you mobile device data then open your device’s Wi-Fi settings and select the logger’s network, which follows the format AP_SN (e.g., AP_XXXXXXXXXX). Enter the password from the logger then connect to this network.

3. Access the Logger Configuration Page

Open a web browser and enter: 10.10.100.254. Need to create login.

  • Username: admin

  • Password: admin

Recommended browsers: Internet Explorer 8+, Chrome 15+, or Firefox 10+

4. View Basic Logger Information

Once logged in, you will be directed to the Logger setup page, where basic system information is displayed.

5. Launch the Wi-Fi Wizard

Click on Wizard, then click Refresh to search for available Wi-Fi networks.

Select your home Wi-Fi network (must be 2.4GHz, not 5GHz) from the list and click NextIt may be worth asking the customer to check the wifi RSSI to confirm signal strength.

6. Enter Network Password

Type in your Wi-Fi password and click Next to proceed.

7. Configure Optional Security Settings

Choose any additional security options if prompted, then click Next to continue.

8. Complete Setup and Reboot

Once configuration is successful, a confirmation page will appear. Click OK to reboot the module.

9. Verify Connection Status

After rebooting, return to 10.10.100.254 and log in again.

Navigate to Device Information and check that Wireless STA Mode is set to Enable.

This indicates a successful Wi-Fi connection. If it is not enabled, repeat the steps above.

10. Access Your System via Deye Cloud

If you previously provided your email for Deye Cloud registration at the time of installation, you should now be able to see your system online.

If not, please share your email with us so we can complete your cloud access setup.

If the inverter serial number or logger serial number isn’t yet visible under the Sky Energy Deye Cloud account, you’ll need to create a new plant using the support@skyenergy.com.au login. This ensures the system can be correctly linked and monitored under our main account.
