Step-by-Step Guide: Connecting GoodWe Inverter to Wi-Fi

1. Download and Open PV Master

   • Install it from the App Store or Google Play Store.

   • Open the app and select “Local Mode.”

2. Connect to the Inverter's Wi-Fi

   • On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings.

   • Look for a network like: Solar-WiFi_XXXXXX or GoodWe-XXXXXX

   • Connect to it. (No password required in most cases.)

3. Go Back to the PV Master App

   • It will auto-detect the inverter once connected.

   • Tap the inverter shown, and then click “Wi-Fi Settings.”

4. Select Your Home Wi-Fi

   • The inverter will scan and show a list of available Wi-Fi networks.

   • Select your home Wi-Fi, then enter the password.

   • Confirm and wait for configuration (can take up to 2 minutes).

5. Check Status

   • The app should say “Connected” once successful.

   • The green light on the inverter will also confirm internet connection.

Optional: SEMS Portal Setup (for monitoring)

After connecting to Wi-Fi, you can monitor your system via the GoodWe SEMS Portal:

• Go to https://www.semsportal.com/

• Sign up and add your inverter using the SN (Serial Number) on the side label.
