On the VRM portal, Go to Remote Console

Step 2: Check how many batteries are actually being detected VS. how many batteries there are on site by clicking on Devices, then Pylontech battery

Step 3: Scroll down to see no. of online and offline battery modules as well as no. of modules blocking charge/discharge:

Step 4: Once determined that a battery is faulty (usually indicated by a solid RED light on the inverter), it must be isolated from the system.

Step 5: Follow shutdown, wiring, set-up, and start-up procedure from this guide: Setting Up Pylontech US5000 Batteries with a Victron System

It’s important to note that disconnecting a single battery without adjusting the configuration and wiring it appropriately could cause system errors, as the controller may still try to communicate with the missing unit.
