Pylontech Battery - Basic Troubleshooting Guide (Batteries not discharging - Battery Monitor [512] Internal Failure Alarm)
Once this is reported by the customer, we must first request for photos of the whole setup to check any wiring/connection anomalies. Then confirm the number of affected batteries by following the steps below

On the VRM portal, Go to Remote Console
Step 2: Check how many batteries are actually being detected VS. how many batteries there are on site by clicking on Devices, then Pylontech battery
Step 3: Scroll down to see no. of online and offline battery modules as well as no. of modules blocking charge/discharge:
Step 4: Once determined that a battery is faulty (usually indicated by a solid RED light on the inverter), it must be isolated from the system.
It’s important to note that disconnecting a single battery without adjusting the configuration and wiring it appropriately could cause system errors, as the controller may still try to communicate with the missing unit.
