Sungrow Troubleshooting

Use this guide a checklist when troubleshooting a faulty Sungrow system.

1. I have reset my system
Turn the system off
You Sungrow inverter will have the solar panels connected and a AC switch that connects to the switchboard.

1. Turn off the PV Array DC Isolator - newer inverter have this built in, and it is located on the left side underneath the inverter
2. Turn off the AC Isolator - if your installation is within 2m of a switchboard, you may not have this. In this case, look in your switchboard for the Solar Circuit breaker
3. IF BATTERY > Turn off the DC Isolator or circuit breaker - newer batteries have a 4 pole dc circuit breaker on the right hand side, push this to the down position.
Turn the system back on
This is essentially a reversal of the OFF procedure.

1. Turn on the PV Array DC Isolator - newer inverter have this built in, and it is located on the left side underneath the inverter
2. Turn on the AC Isolator - if your installation is within 2m of a switchboard, you may not have this. In this case, look in your switchboard for the Solar Circuit breaker
3. IF BATTERY > Turn off the DC Isolator or circuit breaker - newer batteries have a 4 pole dc circuit breaker on the right hand side, push this to the UP position.
